On today’s podcast we’ll discuss the November Surprise:
▶ General News: “…you know, I am sick and tired of the negative, dark, divisive, dangerous vision and behavior of people who support Donald Trump.” Meanwhile… L.A. Times journalist Steven Borowiec wants to see Donald Trump dead. He tweeted… I would rather see Donald Trump’s life end. And pro-Trump rally at Penn State University went south when pro-Hillary students harassed their Trump-supporting classmates by vandalizing their campaign signs and screaming in rage at the Trump supporters. But yeah… I can see what Hillary means. Republican Donald Trump has a three-point lead in Rasmussen Reports’ White House Watch survey. Among voters who are certain how they will vote, Trump now has over 50% support.
▶ Economics: In mid-October, Business Insider reported that Murray Gunn, head of technical analysis for HSBC said that if the Dow Jones Industrial Average were to fall below 17,992 or if the S&P 500 were to dip under 2,116, that a severe fall in the stock market would be likely. Today, the Dow Closed at 17,930 and the S&P at 2,088. Two days in a row it closed below the HSBC markers.
▶ Global Issues: Russia is sending another six ships to Syria’s territorial waters… to meet up with the other ten already in route. Russia and the Syrian army have told anti-government rebels in Aleppo to leave by tomorrow evening, so it looks like things are going to be elevated very soon over there.
