ITT Educational Services Inc. has shut down more than 130 campuses, leaving as many as 40,000 students stranded. The Pentagon cannot account for trillions of dollars. The Obama administration disclosed to Congress on Tuesday that it transferred a total of $1.7 billion in cash through Swiss banks to Iran around the time American hostages were released this year. The Clinton Camp rigged the Benghazi hearing by feeding Dem chair questions.
▶ Economics: Michael Gray of the New York Post hits one out of the park. Cash piles at American companies are shrinking. Geopolitical and financial analyst Warren Pollock says danger for all Americans is here right now.
▶ Global Issues: North Korea fires three ballistic missiles as G20 leaders meet in China. A U.S. Navy coastal patrol ship changed course after a fast-attack craft from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps came within 100 yards. Large-scale military drills with thousands of troops launched in southern Russia. China Deploys Construction Vessels at Disputed Reef. Philippines Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana said that an air force plane saw four Chinese coast guard ships, two barge-like vessels, and what were believed to be two troop ships near the disputed shoal. Seth Cropsey, ex-Deputy Undersecretary of the US Navy, warned of an imminent conflict between the United States and China.
▶ Health: Scientists have created a simple blood test that can detect cancer before any symptoms are noticeable.
